«The Dark Blue Days» series was born in 2019 in New York — a moment of both personal and creative exposure. After years of working in his Moscow studio surrounded by a team and resources, Timofey Kolesnikov suddenly found himself alone, confronted only by his own questions about life and art.

This shift became a point of introspection — an exploration of solitude not as loss, but as a path to self-discovery. The deep blue tones that permeate the series evoke a state of quiet isolation, a space of inner stillness and emotional depth.

Moving away from defined personalities, Timofey turns to abstracted human forms and deconstructed silhouettes as expressions of internal experience.
